What is the treatment fee?
All procedures of refractive surgery are considered to be medical
services for private coverage. This means that the calculation of the
services rendered is made in accordance with the applicable codes of the
GOÄ (Gebührenwerk für die Bemessung und Erstattung von
ärztlichen Privatleistungen), the German association for the evaluation
and reimbursement of private medical payments.
Depending on the procedure, the surgery itself will cost between approximately
€ 1.900 and € 2.400 per eye. The fees for the preoperative and
postoperative exams will be charged separately.
During your consultation, we are happy to provide you with a detailed
list of the necessary medical services and the estimated costs of your
procedure. You will also be asked to sign a medical service agreement.
Feel free to contact our trained personnel for further questions or to

Which fees will my insurance cover?
The Bundesärztekammer (German Medical Board) has included
procedures of refractive surgery in the list of payments for individual
coverage (Individuell zu finanzierende Gesundheitsleistungen or IGEL).
This means that German public healthcare insurances generally do not cover
treatment costs.
Do you offer financing?
We do offer a financing option with the ABC Privatkunden Bank.
Please contact us, if you are interested in financing your procedure.
