New Possibility of Life Without Reading Glasses
The new AcuFocus™ ACI 7000, a corneal implant developed by AcuFocus™, Inc. (USA), is designed to improve near vision. Currently, an international clinical trial is open to men and women between the ages of 45 and 55 years of age who are in good health and have normal, healthy vision. LASIK-TÜV Certification for alz eye laser center munich
Our clinic was the first in Germany to receive an additional certification (TÜV). The LASIK-TÜV is based on ISO 9001, the international classification for quality management, and includes special LASIK (surgeon) and hygiene requirements. It offers a means of orientation and allows LASIK Centers to have the quality of their work confirmed by an impartial third party.

An “Oscar” for Barbara Lege, MD
At the 2005 meeting of the German Opthamological Congress (DOC) in Nuremberg, Dr. Barbara Lege of the ALZ eye clinic in Munich received the best poster award for a display of her findings on the movements and accommodation process of the intraocular contact lens (ICL) in relation to the eye’s natural lens, using the ACMaster.

"Best Paper of Session"
The American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery (ASCRS) honored Dr. Lege with the "Best Paper of Session" award during its annual meeting in April 2005. Dr. Lege’s paper was on the "Age-related Behavior of Posterior Chamber Lenses During Accommodation Measured by Partial Coherence Interferometry".

All- Laser Technology - More than 300 Procedures Performed
