The new solid state laser technology produces superior laser beam scanning,
significantly faster than the excimer galvanometer systems. This unique
technology uses a solid state laser engine with specially cultivated crystals.
It generates a 213 nm wavelength with reliable, uniform Gaussian beam
characteristics and better pulse to pulse stability, and produces clean,
smooth ablated surfaces.
